Oh I agree Chris! 
Itās a lot easier to get to know the main cast in He-Man and Thundercats than most of the other 80s properties, and itās definately a strength. For the life of me I still donāt know who half the characters in Transformers are, and thus, dont really care about any of them. But as a kid watching the show, I imagine you would have wanted to see your newest toy appear, and perhaps might have got a bit fed up of the same characters appearing so frequently when they were so many exciting figures you hadnāt spotted yet
