The Art of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe

I recently got the opportunity to read this book and I have to see it is amazing. And if you are a die-hard He-Man fan then it is a must-have!

It has lots of information about the conception of the character, the toys, the comics, the Filmation cartoon series, the movie, the new adventures cartoon and much more. It is also chock full of photos of original concept designs, artworks, animation cels, sketches, action figures prototypes, etc etc.

I only wish that we get a similar “ThunderCats” book some time in the future!

After getting the He-Man Minicomic Collection I decided to get The Art of He-Man book.

After receiving the book yesterday I can confirm it is wonderful and absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended, 5*****. If you loved the He-Man cartoons and toys this book is an absolute must get.

I’m a big Masters of the Universe fan, and got this “Art of He-man and the MOTU” a couple of years ago. Excellent book, with amazing art. My favorite portion of the book was the various artwork from the MOTU vintage toy packaging art (especially the art from the 1982 - 1987 original MOTU line).

However, the book seemed to be trying to give us a representation of the MOTU artwork throughout the years, not just the original Vintage/'80’s packaging art.

Yes the book cover all the art from all representations of MOTU. The Earl Norem paintings are stunning.
